Snorkeling

Experience the Great African Seaforest with our half-day snorkeling trips in Cape Town’s kelp forest. Unlike a visit to an aquarium, you will fully immerse yourself in this unique marine world—seeing, hearing, feeling, and even tasting the ocean. All the gear you need to stay comfortable in these temperate waters will be provided and our professional snorkeling guides will ensure a safe, enjoyable and educational experience for everyone. Snorkeling is fun, easy, and perfect for the whole family!

Freediving

Jacques Cousteau once said, “The kelp forest is a primeval world where light and shadow dance with the ocean’s currents, creating a sanctuary for countless species and a haven for the human soul.” Learning to freedive will allow you to enter this world, glide through the underwater forest and interact with the creatures who live there. Our internationally recognised, 2-day, Adventure Freediver I course will teach you how to safely explore the Great African Seaforest and help you reconnect with your mind and body. You will gain essential freediving skills and knowledge which will provide you with the confidence to be a capable open-water freediver and a trusted dive buddy. This course is open to anyone 12 years and older who is a confident swimmer and is in good health.

Our experience exceeded all expectations! On the first day, we went on a snorkel trip, and after watching "My Octopus Teacher," our hopes were high. However, the real-life adventure was even better! This is our 2nd time we did this. It is just magical swimming through the kelp forest. Just another world really. The equipment kept us safe and warm for more than an hour. The guide was really good and gave us time to explore. This activity is also good for kids, my youngest is 10 and did this 2 years ago and now as well.
